This is awesome! Is there also an increase to the outbound cell link limit (200k) and grid link (10k) limit as well?

This is excellent, we have reached limits on certain critical sheets and can see how this upgrade by 2024 can help us keep our current systems without rebuilding them to fit new needs.
-
神奇的News! but does this means that the entire sheet can be in-bound cells ? considering the fact that maximum number of cells in one sheet is 500,000 Cells.

Jason - yes you can use 500k outbound cell links! Can you clarify what 10k limit you're referring to?

@Allegra SilcoxThe Smartsheet Gov page still says 20,000 inbound cell links:https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/2479146-an-overview-of-smartsheet-gov
However, the regular Smartsheet accounts cell linking page says that Smartsheet Gov is limited to 100,000 inbound cell links:https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/861579-cell-linking#toc-tips-for-effectively-working-with-cell-links
Just wanted to make you aware that the Smartsheet Gov likely needs to be updated to match the other page.

Dummy question: does this limit # include those links created by datamesh?

This is fantastic. Can't wait to see the 2 million links goal too! We had to rework a lot of the sheets on our account due to the 100k limit. Now the sheets will last a lot longer, analyze much larger sets of data, less frequent maintenance, and more interaction between sheets.

Hi there JJWW - all cell links are created equal, whether they be by Control Center, Datamesh, a formula, or otherwise!
However, there are some other limitations we're working on. While you could theoretically update a huge amount of cells up to the new 500k limit, I would not recommend this as DataMesh workflows can time out if they don’t complete within a certain length of time.
Note that if you're using the cell-link feature with Datamesh, then based oncell-link limitsyou'll only be able to create up to 500 cell links at a time. So yes - cell links are all the same regardless of creation source, but based on other product limits (which we're working on), you can't immediately create 500,000 links on a sheet with all products until we complete other work on those.

@Bob Fraserany chance this increase will also lead to the increase of possible cells in a sheet past 500,000?
