    Hi,

in your account settings you can define which days are workdays.

    Hope this helps

    Hi,

seen internationally, the week number has an ISO definition (ISO week date - Wikipedia) but also different kind of counting in the world.

Could your target "all tasks that will be next week" be translated to

"all tasks started in the past + not completed OR starting within the next 10 (or other) days" ?

I assume your look ahead should show what's up next and still ongoing during the specified time frame, right?

This would relief you from "next week" as variable.

Your filter in your sheet would look for rows, where

    • status is ongoing
    • OR
    • starting day is within the next 10 days

    Hope this helps

    hi,

the sheet ment for two purposes:

    1. to display the tasks current week
    2. display the look ahead tasks for next week.

i want to show it in card view that why i need dropdown for al days (sunday to Saturday ) and every day my employee update the date and i see it every day for each task.

    Hi@Netanel yosef

To add to Stefans excellent advice.

You would need to define the specific days that should count. I think I have a formula in the archive. I'll get back to you!

    I hope that helps!

Be safe and have a fantastic week!

Hmmm, I hope you don't mind me asking, why you do not use the calendar view ? I ask because I would like to understand what you try to achieve from a business perspective.

You get all the details when double clicking on the task.

i want to know all tasks, employee and progress every day without clicking.

this sheet show in dashboard in specipic screen in my office

Hmm ok, I think you need your own calendar sheet.

In the "Date" column (type date) you just need to enter the first day. "New week" is a checkbox column. And yes, you need 365 rows.

    workweek.png

In your existing sheet the helper column "Current work week helper" would have a formula like the following to get the week number belonging to the date in your "Date" column:

    =VLOOKUP([Created date]@row, {Date}, 2, false)

{Date} = a cross sheet reference to the newly created sheet, where the complete columns "Date" and "Week number" must be selected.

NOTE: Later changes to the sequence of the columns in the new sheet will damage the cross sheet reference.

Your other helper column can probably be used without modification.

    Hope this helps

    Stefan

PS: It's maybe a good idea to let Smartsheet know, that the calculation of the week number needs to be adjustable to the setting of your account. I you don't mind use the "Submit Product Enhancement Request" link on this page.

As long as your destination sheet doesn't have the numbering column setup as an Auto Number, you should be fine. In your destination sheet, keep the numbering column as a \"Text\/Number\" column instead.<\/p>
