Fourms
When adding a fourm to a dashboard, is it possible to clone/copy the dashboard and have the fourms copy with it?
This one is hard to explain, but if you make a dashboard and you have 1 folder with 1 sheet and 5 reports in it you can copy it and all that data moves to the new folder etc... but it seems when you put a Fourm on a dashboard since you have to embed the "Link" or "URL" you cant do this.... anyone found a way to add a fourm to a dashboard and when you clone/copy it , you move the forum as well so you dont have to always remember to replace the url?

Paul Newcome ✭✭✭✭✭✭Unfortunately that isn't possible. You aren't exactly "linking" to a Smartsheet item. You are entering a URL which is the equivalent of a text string. While it may be a URL to a Smartsheet item, it is still just a URL.

yes, but since its inside SS you would think they would have some way to embed it quickly and allow this since its not embedding something from and outside url , its embedding something from within SS

You aren't embedding something from within Smartsheet though. You are entering a text string that when typed into a web browser will take you to a specific location. Entering a URL into a Web Content widget is the same whether it is a YouTube URL, Weather Channel, Smartsheet, etc. They are all nothing more than text strings entered into a web browser.

It can work, but more like a compromise way. Editing on a report is less convenient.<\/p>
It would be better for me to set access right to each column.<\/p>
