Integrate with Microsoft Planner

Is there any possibility of Smartsheet integrating with Microsoft Planner? Smartsheet is equipment to manage full portfolio where Microsoft Planner seem to only focus on individual projects. I am a seasoned Project Manager and I need to see all projects at a high level view. Several departments within my organization uses Planner and I have to perform additional work to keep project statuses up to date in Smartsheet.

  • Hello,

There currently isn't integration between Smartsheet and MS Planner. When you have a moment, submit a Product Enhancement Request using the form under Quick links on the right and let our Product team know that you'd like to see this integration.

同时,你可能会考虑the feasibility of having people track individual projects with Smartsheet instead of MS Planner so that you can still get a bird's eye view without having to keep track in two different systems.

I agree there is a difference, but the nice thing about Planner is the O365 integration. Also, the kanban style seems a bit more polished than the Smartsheet cards view.

I would also be interested in figuring out how to integrate Planner and Smartsheet together.

My current card view in smartsheet organizes activities by health (red, yellow, blue, green dots)....but that's not really a stage in the project life cycle. Would be nice to see activities grouped together on cards by stages (i.e. Agile software development approach).

Maybe I am missing something, but card view isn't lending itself real well to that on my construction project.

    ****update****

I was totally missing something. Just found out I could do a view by "task category". That was exactly what I was looking for! Will play around with this and see how things go.

The INDEX function should be retaining the data type (in this case date value). It sounds like the issue is that there is at least one blank or no-date value within the range. To accommodate that you would use:

=COUNTIFS({All Sites CAPA}, CONTAINS("CAPA", @cell), {All Sites CAPA Effective Date}, IFERROR(MONTH(@cell), 0) = 6, {All Sites CAPA Closed On Time?}, CONTAINS("CAPA Overdue", @cell))

https://community.smartsheet.com/api/v2/discussions?page=2&includeChildCategories=1&type%5B0%5D=Question&excludeHiddenCategories=1&siteSectionID=0&sort=-hot&limit=3&expand%5B0%5D=all&expand%5B1%5D=-body&expand%5B2%5D=insertUser&expand%5B3%5D=lastUser&status=accepted
">
