Configure how you receive notifications from Smartsheet

In the Smartsheet app, you can receive updates and reminders in the Notifications Center.

However, that isn’t the only place where you can receive your notifications. You can configure your personal settings to receive notifications from these channels:

• Email:Receive the notifications via the email address associated with your Smartsheet account.
• Mobile Push:Allow the Smartsheet mobile app to give you push notifications on your mobile device.
• Messaging App:Receive notifications via the messaging apps (such as Slack and Google Chat) integrated with your Smartsheet account.

Read on to learn how to enable or turn off your notifications.

Change your notification settings from the desktop app

1. On theNavigation Bar, select账户.
2. ChoosePersonal Settings.
3. In thePersonal Settingsdialog, selectNotifications.
4. Set up where you want to receive notifications from a particular alert or action.
   SelectInclude my changes in sheet notifications. If you don’t select this option, you won’t receive notifications when you test automations.
5. SelectSave.

Change your notification settings from the mobile app

Smartsheet for iOS

Notifications are off by default in the Smartsheet for iOS app. The first time you tap theNotificationicon, you’ll be prompted to enable push notifications with these steps:

1. TapEnable>允许授权应用程序发送push notifications to you.
2. Allow Smartsheet to send you notifications.

If you selectedDon’t Allow, you can enable notifications at a later time with these steps:

1. On theHomepage, tapSettings> Push Notifications.
2. On thePush Notificationspage, set up how you want to receive notifications.
3. TapSave.

If you’ve tappedDon’t Allowor turned off notifications from the Settings app, you must enable them from the Settings app. You’ll need to do this before you can specify other notification options. Follow these steps to turn off notifications from the Settings app:

1. On the Home page, tapSettings>Push Notifications.
2. Tap去to Settings App.
   
3. Enable notifications from the Settings app.

After doing these steps, you'll be able to specify your notification options on thePush Notificationspage of the Smartsheet for iOS app.

That’s it! If you find yourself wanting to be notified in a different way, you can adjust these settings at any time.

Smartsheet for Android

Push notifications are on by default in Smartsheet for Android. To change your notification settings from Smartsheet for Android:

1. From theHomepage, tapSettings.
2. TapPush Notifications.
   
   
3. On thePush Notificationspage, choose which kind of notification you want to receive.
   • Sheet changes and reminders:Receive alerts on your mobile device if there are changes in or reminders from the sheet(s) you have access to.
   • Sharing invitations:Receive alerts on your mobile device if someone shares a Smartsheet file with you.
   • Update and approval requests:Receive alerts if someone sends an update or approval request from a sheet you have access to.
4. TapSave.

That’s it! If you find yourself wanting to be notified in a different way, you can come back and adjust these settings at any time.
