=COUNTIF field has any value

Hello,

My current incorrect statement is as follows:

=COUNTIF(Plant:Plant, "DC", [Assigned To]:[Assigned To], NOT(ISBLANK([Assigned To]:[Assigned To])))

I am attempting to count the number of fields with any value in the "Assigned To" column with the plant column being "DC".

I have made numerous failed attempts to find help with this by reading current info.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Kyler,

    I'd recommend using the COUNTIFS function instead.

    Try something like this.

    =COUNTIFS(Plant:Plant; "DC"; [Assigned To]:[Assigned To]; NOT(ISBLANK(@cell)))

    The same version but with the below changes for your and others convenience.

    =COUNTIFS(Plant:Plant, "DC", [Assigned To]:[Assigned To], NOT(ISBLANK(@cell)))

    Depending on your country you’ll need to exchange the comma to a period and the semi-colon to a comma.

    Yes. COUNTIFS and replacing the range within your NOT(ISBLANK()) with an@cellreference.

With the symbols you are using, the options would typically be represented by the text entries [Empty, Quarter, Half, Three Quarter, Full]. In this case, this should work:<\/p>

If you do have your sheet setup somehow so that the entries are respresented by [0, 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, 1], then this should work:<\/p>

In either case, you will need to substitute [BallCell] with the name of the column with your symbols.
