To request a sheet or workspace backup, you needviewerpermissions or higher.

To request recurring workspace backups, you must be theworkspace owneroradmin.

Backups are available for licensed users on Enterprise or Business plans. You can request a one-time backup and/or a recurring backup.

You cannot back up reports and dashboards, only sheets and workspaces. If you are backing up a workspace, the backup email only goes to the workspace owner.

Backups do not include attachments from online sources such as Google Drive, OneDrive, Box, Dropbox, Evernote, Egnyte, and URLs.

To request a one-time backup

  1. On the leftNavigation Bar中,选择Browse.
  2. Right-click on the name of a sheet, folder, or workspace and selectRequest Backup. If a workspace doesn't contain any sheets, Request Backup does not appear.
  3. Follow the instructions on your screen. Be sure to selectInclude attachmentsif you want them in your backup.
  4. SelectOK.

After you request a backup, you can download the backup directly from Smartsheet.
