Who can use this capability
To request a sheet or workspace backup, you needviewerpermissions or higher.
To request recurring workspace backups, you must be theworkspace owneroradmin.
Request a one-time backup
Backups are available for licensed users on Enterprise or Business plans. You can request a one-time backup and/or a recurring backup.
You cannot back up reports and dashboards, only sheets and workspaces. If you are backing up a workspace, the backup email only goes to the workspace owner.
Backups do not include attachments from online sources such as Google Drive, OneDrive, Box, Dropbox, Evernote, Egnyte, and URLs.
To request a one-time backup
- On the leftNavigation Bar中,选择Browse.
- Right-click on the name of a sheet, folder, or workspace and selectRequest Backup. If a workspace doesn't contain any sheets, Request Backup does not appear.
- Follow the instructions on your screen. Be sure to selectInclude attachmentsif you want them in your backup.
- SelectOK.
After you request a backup, you can download the backup directly from Smartsheet.
